Hi All,
I've recently had a few strange sounds from up front & I think I've narrowed it down to a certain sequence of events.

When I'm driving around a corner (turning to the right, with the steering at close to full lock) I hear a clunk sound(metal contacting metal) as I'm bringing the wheels back to being straight (so as I leave the turn). I also get a vibration sound when doing this (metal against metal sound)... not all the time but most of the time.

I've been under the KJ a number of times over the last month or so trying to find something loos but can't.

Any input would be much appreciated.

Spot on Fros, I'm getting a price for a new rack and labour cost.

(not sure if it's something I should consider doing or not.. I've never done one before.)

$500 is the total.

He told me that it would be OK for 6 to 12 months.. so no rush = time to save.

thats a good price,

rockauto.com has those rack bushes for 11.66 each and they deliver to australia, they are a new favorite site for jeep bits that are not RHD specific
