with a steal dana 44 up front ![]() Just thinking that since they have the LOST club in their 2006 brochure, why not make a model of Jeep after the club, and fix the major complaint about the Jeep Liberty in the process. |

We can make our own. Someone else here pointed me to this website: http://www.billetbadges.com. Here's an example: ![]() And here's my idea: ![]() Anyone wanna try a group buy on these, or a refined version with your suggestions? It costs $35 to buy one, we should be able to get em cheaper with a quantity of them and put some $ back into the club. |

I could see a more practical LOST edition-rubicon wheels and MTR's with wet okole or similar seat covers and skids/hooks/heavy duty cooling and the Renegad Light Bar, heavy duty rubber floor mats...Using off the shelf parts would be cheap for them, wouldn't require a dramatic change on the assembly line...and those parts are parts that those of us don't have probably want. Be a good platform to start with... A Dana 44 would be cool but I doubt we will ever see anything on the assembly without a D30a up front untill a redesign of the Liberty comes out... |

That is my buddy Steve, he made a set for himself "F-250 Super Crewzer" one day and they spread like wildfire within the Ford SD community, and took off from there, to where he started a business on the side for them. He has come along way in the last year and a half. I dont know about the shape though. it would seem a lil big IMO. my .02 ![]() |

Even better! Would you mind asking him about a group buy? |

certainly, if we can get the numbers right, and a design everyone agrees with. As an art guy your self you understand that there may be a art set up fee for the emblems. but if we got enuff interest im sure it wouldnt matter. Lets see some ideas or get some interest. If interested this where it all started: http://www.socaps.com/photopost/showgal ... /cat/21005 |

Also where are we going to mount em? do we want continuity so they all look the same within LOST? is the idea to replace the trail rated emblem? or just add it to the KJ. just curious, dont wanna make the KJ gaudy with a bunch of emblems and/or decals. Lets hear some ideas |

I like the idea of replacing the trail rated emblem...maybe make the design similar to the new round LOST decals... but maybe scale down the size a little (halfway between the trail rated badge and the round LOST sticker). |

I think the Driver's side door, right above the plastic trim piece. I think leaving it as a rectangle would look good, but a round version of the new LOST logo would be friggin sweet as well. Lemme work on an idea with that tomorrow. |

What are we talking material-wise? My dad owns a business that makes engraved plaques, nametags, and signs, and he can also screen print on just about anything. I know he has access to chrome steel and brushed aluminum. He would give us a good deal too. Give me an idea about the desired material and the size (area and thickness) and I'll get us some prices right away. I'm not trying to steal anything away from you and your buddy, pixeldzn. But if I can help make it happen I'd be glad to and I'm sure my dad could set us up with something nice. |

Its billeted aluminum I believe. |

"Billet" aluminum, like when you hear about billet wheels or something, is basically using a CNC (computer numeric control) machine to cut the part out of a solid chunk (billet) of aluminum, or other material. This could be done, but you would have little to no contrast for the image and/or lettering. A badge could be cut from aluminum and printed on with black ink. That would look nice. Could someone post a close up shot of the trail rated badge, both the old style and the new? Rick |
