I had this happen to me right after picking up my Jeep from a service from the agents. I turned around and went straight back to the agents who fixed the problem in about five minutes...they said they had knocked off some hose coupling somewhere but unfortunately I was not there to see what they did. |

I had this same problem with my 2004. Got it fixed under waranty. The dealer told me the AC/Heat control unit had a leak. I believe this is the cluster in the dash that the knobs are attached to. Woodo |

When I turn my A/C on, it briefly comes out of the defrost vents. From what I read, this is a feature of the KJ. This is so that hot air doesn't blow right out on you. Blowing it briefly through the defrost vents allows the air to cool slightly before it automatically switches it to the panel. Whatever it is that automatically switches it to the panel may be the problem. I'm just guessing here. |

Still can't figure this out... But I did find the arms that control it under the dash... And with a little zip tie action it now blows out the face, floor, and def vents which is perfect! LoL! |

There have been some issues raised here with respect to the Blend Door...maybe a search on this forum will locate it!
