OK . [/b]
Now is more frequent, when I'm going to start it, it won't start the first time, then the second time starts right up. I'm not sure but I believe it happens after being standing for at least 20 or 30 minutes or overnight.
I check the fuel press, and seems fine while running and also 5 minutes after turning it off.
Should this be the filter? or pump? how can I tell?
I checked spark plugs. I have a set of injectors, but I don't think the problem is the injectors, I still think is the fuel pump/filter.

Please let me know what you think.
Thanks a lot.

Mines doing it too, I have not seen any patteren so I think yours is a little worse than mine but.... It's diffently sounds like the same problem. How many miles are on yours? I'm at 78,000 miles and I think it sounds like a fuel system issue also. I have never changed my fuel filter so I think I'm going to look in to that. I saw a post on changing the fuel filter but it doesn't sound simple, so I'm not looking foward to it.

For some reason no one does it, but i would drop the tank. Theres a plate in the floor of the trunk and everyone takes that off. Would be much easier to drop the tank.

If I remeember correctly, there is a TSB for the fuel pump on 02 Libby's for this problem. When my starter was giving me problems, the dealer tried to tell be it was the fuel pump. The truck would have long crack times before it would finally start.

Ive never removed the tank on the kj. On our grand it was very easy, the two straps holding it on were all that needed to come off. The kj may be different, i dont know for sure.
