I would like to know if anyone has ordered a rear ball joint, if so where from and what is the part number?

Ok, So I need to replace my rear ball joint. The part number my mechanic's computer shows is different from the part number NAPA has and the local Jeep Dealer says that the ball joint or the whole control arm w/ bushings and ball joint are possibly 2 months out because of demand.

Also NAPA shows different part number for the bushings theirs are priced at like $20 a piece and the dealers are like $80. If anyone has more info on the bushings that would be appreciated as well.

Went through this whole ordeal a few day's ago at work,your SOL until Chrysler makes some more and don't hold your breath.No one could even get a part# anymore due to being discontinued and the dealer has them listed on back order with no expected date.

So there is no third party or aftermarket ones out there? I'm seeing stuff on online parts sites, and it is listed as in stock.

No aftermarket ones from a reputable company,you may find the whole rear tri-link but again the quality of the part is anyone's guess.

This is a real bummer, the Jeep is my only vehicle and I drive like 30 miles a day to and from work, I don't know what I'm going to do.
