I want to just cut all of the plastic out of the fenders and coat that area with bedliner, is there anything under the plastic that shouldnt be exposed?

Not really going to gain anything but " cutting " everything out, plus when you remove them it has all kinds of dips, crevaces, hills and valleys for mud to get stuck back in. KJs do not have a clean looking inner fender

thanks, the only reason I wanted to take it out was because I'm still getting a little bit of rubbing. But I'll probably just do some more trimming instead of taking it all out then
