Bought some molded splash guards and attempted to put them on the other day. Back went on fine, but the front is giving me some trouble. The screws mount up fine on the inside of the flares, but the screw that goes on the bottom of the flare has a gap of about 1 inch. Are the renegade flares that much different on the front(specifically the bottom near the door?) If I can't get these to work I might have to settle for the flat splash guards.... :|

Any help/knowledge would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Should be no difference. I have sport flares currently but have some renegade flares here and they look the same in every way.

That's what I thought initially. But, when I go to screw in the bottom screw, it pulls up so much on the flap that an 1/4 inch gap appears at the top where it's supposed to be tight against the flare.

The back went on fine and are flush with the flares, but the front are driving me mad. :banghead:

Does anyone have a close up pictures of your front splash guards mounted? I'd appreciate it!

Sorry it's not a close up but it's the best pic I could find, I'd take a new one but I don't have them on anymore. However I did not have any gap issues, the fronts mounted nice and tight just like the back.

Ok, it is possible to mount these on renegade flares. All you need is someone to help hold the splash guard to form and 1 extra mounting screw(also a little patience  ) In the end, it is possible to get a decently tight fit. Note: Due to my year of Liberty, I used the 2002-2004 front splash guards which are discontinued, so I don't know if the newer ones (2005-2007) will work.

BTW thanks for the picture. 8)
