My daughters 2007 KJ speedometer needle came off and is laying along the bottom of the instrument panel behind the plastic cover. Is there a way to access that area? It looks like it could be glued back on to the spindle.
Has anyone dealt with a problem like this?

She is a missionary in Mexico, and will be home for a couple of weeks for Christmas.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Sounds like you broke her jeep while she was away....for shame! :ROTFL:

Sorry that I don't have an answer for you though.

It is easy to remove the cluster assembly and take it apart. Remove the cluster by removing the rubber cover on the panic grab handles on the door pillars; there are two torx screws that you need to remove on each side then the pillar cover can be removed. This enables you to then pull upwards on the long plastic piece just inside of the windscreen then you will see how to unscrew the cluster assembly.
