Hi guys,

KJ was revving high and the engine light came on. I got code P0700 - Transmission Control System Malfunction. Which is "EATX or Aisin transmission controller has an active fault and has
requested MIL illumination via a bus message to the SBEC/JTEC (MIL,
DTC, and freeze-frame data reset following transmission fault clear"

What the heck is that in English?

The P0700 is a generic MIL code for "something" that is wrong with the tranny. Could be a simple as low ATF, or a lot more pricey. Unfortunately, you need a code reader to pull the real DTC from the computer.
