Anybody done it yet? Or does anyone know if it would be directly bolt in? or would the frame need to be modified? My seats getting a bit ripped, so just looking for some options... *Edit* mainly wondering about the front seats as I do not have back seats at the moment

Yeah my backseat can stay as-is I do want new front seats though as long as I can keep power driver, mechanical passenger, and add heated driver and pass. Maybe even go with black |

Would be interesting to know. If you did, you'd get the front passenger seat that fold flat. |

You'd be surprised what a professional upholsterer can do (rebuild foam bolsters, repair torn fabric, replace covers entirely, etc). Unless you have actual structural damage to the seat, that's likely also the cheapest way to go if you want something "factory" looking. Sure, you can get generic jeep seats from JC Whitney for less than a leather re-cover, but if keeping the power/heat/shape, etc is important, look around town and see if you can find a good shop (and check their references in person, etc). Dan Nice idea, I hate my 06 seats, real uncomfortable. Maybe some padding and recover will do it! |

Has anyone compared the KK and KJ seats side by side? I do not think I know anyone with a KK here in town. Might be something to check out since my Passenger seat has a broken recline handle. |

My biggest problem with the KK is that the seats were uncomfortable. That is probably the main reason I got a used KJ over a new KK. |

My Wife's KJ was rescently in an accident and while being repaired the insurance company gave her a 2011 Liberty to drive, we both hated it but my wife liked the seats. I started doing some preliminary measurements to see if they would fit in the KJ and after a few measurements it was appearant it wouldn't be a straight swap so I stopped looking into what all would be needed to change them out. |
