Sometimes, even the simplest things are hard... I'm having trouble removing the windshield wiper arms on my '06 Liberty. Even after removing the hold-on nut, and using a puller, the arms won't release from the shaft. Has anybody else experienced this? What did you do to remover the arms?

Thanx,

Steve

After the nut is removed simply raise the wiper arm in the "up" position, grab it at the bend and push down and yank back up with some force a few times and normally will break the arm free.Always worked for me.

I have the exact same problem on my '05. I finally gave up trying to remove them in fear of breaking something..

I had to use a puller for mine the first time I pulled the whole arm off. I used a battery terminal puller, just like a gear puller only in miniature.
