| Post subject: | Gas tank Flap missing |
Okay so my engine light came on, and the first thing I checked was the gas cap. I screwed it off and saw a deep dark hole. I see what looks like two brackes that the flap thingy used to be mounted to. Anyone else missing a flap? Should the engine light go on because this is missing? Should I fix it? It's a 2007 Sport 4x4 Thanks Everyday my Jeep does something new just to get attention. |

Mine does not have a flapper on it, and I have no check engine light, I have the overflow gas issue with mine, though!!! |

Checking the codes doesn't help when you have no clue what they mean and don't have a internet accessible phone to look up the codes when you're driving down the road.... |
