Anyone know what length crossbars to buy for a 2002 Limited, would like it so there is no extra hangover. I'm shopping for bars and a basket but I'm at work and cant find the stock length.

Thanks

According to thule manual must be 120 cm, mopar must be the same, i put on 135 cm Thule aero and i think they give me more space to put things.

I believe mine are the 48" bars, which is the smallest Yakima offers. There is very little overhang. You can cut down any overhang that you don't care for. The rear hangs over a little more than the front because the rails are not parallel (they taper slightly toward the rear).

But, if I were doing it again, I'd get the longest bars they offer and then cut them down because the longest Yak bars (78") are MSRP $50, and my 48" bars were MSRP $50 (I actually got them for $40). If I did it over again, I'd get the 78"ers, chop 'em down with a hacksaw, buy an extra set of end caps, and have a set of 30" bars for free.

That was a camping trip to the mountains at Cordillera de Los Andes, very nice place (and my KJ take me with all my equipment and family)

When i was looking for the crossbars, the 120cm bars where in backorder, and i have to take things that weekend so, i put the 135 cm i don't like much too at first but, when i put a thule box, two windsurf equipment and a wakeboard and still have room, i start liking it :D
