Was putting my tow hooks on the front last week and noticed a few rock chips in the hood and checked my little bottle of touch up paint only to find it had turned to a substance resembling molasses that wanted to leave "stringers" when the brush came up out of the bottle. So I thought I'd check with the hive mind and see what was preferred for touch up paint, either the newer pens or just the old style tiny brush 'n bottle...any particular company to order from ?? Thanks.
UPDATE : Called the stealership to just re-order the original touch-up paint and was told it had been discontinued
. Sooooo......Now I'd like to find just the one stage touch-up paint but all the local shops say everything is base/clearcoat now and no single stage is available (???)......any truth to this or are they just trying to drum up business ??
