I'm going to install new lower Moog grease able ball joints while putting on my OME lift and JBA arms. I purchased the ball joint press tool and was messing with the tool and the lower ball joints tonight. My question is do I need to remove the boot from the lower ball joints before pressing them in? It looks like the boot might be damaged if I press ball joint into the knuckle with the boot in place. I'm not sure if the boots are even removable but I figured I would ask before damaging any of the new parts!!
