Alright, so it doesn't have anything to do with my liberty but rather my wifes camry. We went out yesterday and before we even started going there was a slight smell of gas from around the car after starting. There was a pretty beat up truck that just passed by so i though maybe it was left over from him. Went across town and as we were pulling into a parking lot the car just sputtered out and died. Noticed the smell of gas again once we were stopped. It started back up and ran rough for a second but then drove all the way back home without any issue. I'm thinking either plugs, cat, or some other unknown force. Any ideas? |

I'm thinking that the plugs/cat would give a funky burned smell - not standard gas. a gas smell is most likely a cracked hose or seal somewhere in the fuel system and check the gas cap |
