 Post subject: Brake job

Just replaced rotors and pad on our 05'. 50 miles later the outboard pad, drivers side, fell out!! I've done this job on many jeeps lots of times.. I'm not home now to look at it.. What did I do wrong????? I'm really " lost " on this one as it has never happened to me before. Thanks for all advise..

Did you replace the stainless steel clips that the brake pads ride on. I had a clip break and fall out. didn't loose a pad, but it was loose.

I recommend you replace all the hardware, about $7.50 for the kit for the front brakes.
