Any thoughts if this would work with a stock liberty wheel on the back? Could the rear door handle a jack and jerry can back there?

Looks like it mounts the same way my Jeep Bike Rack does, so I don't see why not. Kind of nice. :)

On 2nd thought.............I came across this quote from amazon
Quote:
Recommended for use with After Market Tire Carriers & Works Only with Aftermarket wheels with a 2.5" plus center bore only * They did add the word "aftermarket" recently to that sentence which will help, but not as much as bold print at the top of the description would. Returning 50lbs of steel is expensive.

Be too much weight with tire, wheel, jerry can full of gas and jack.
plus using a aftermarket wheel

Trying to give a home to a jerry can or equivalent. I saw some flat stackable ones that intrigued me as they could sit flat and possibly reside in my roof rack.

I suppose there is always 1700 dollars in glorious bumperage. At least its out there :/
