I thought this would save some time for anyone who might consider installing the new ARB awning. It's a totally gangster design but outside of some 6MM bolts and nylock nuts, it comes with no hardware. ARB does sell some very beefy "L" brackets with holes that line up with the aluminum extrusion but it's not very useful to mount to a round bar.

I bought a bag of these for $1.91 at Home Depot:

The holes on the clamps come very close to lining up with the extrusion slots, I did have to widen the holes with a unibit. The supplied fail-bolt is on the right. I grabbed some longer 6MM bolts so I would have more working room. Not pictured are the 6MM flat washers, split washers and bolts.

Since this thing is 6ft wide and I was working alone, I found it easier to put the awning up-side-down on the rack so I could get everything lined up and the the bolts started then flip the whole thing over and tighten; it went pretty smoothly.

Here's what the awning looks like when packed up...

... and deployed
