What kind of oil do you use in your KJ's and how often do you change it?

I have used Valvoline Max Life in all of my vehicles, but haven't changed it in my KJ yet. I think I may use Valvoline MaxLife NextGen when I change it. It's made from recycled oil and more environmentally friendly!

Thanks

I use Valvoline Max Life and change it every 3000 miles. I also prefer WIX filters.

I use Amsoil 5w30 and EA oil filters. I drive roughly 10,000 kms per year, so I will change oil every 5,000 kms or 6 months.

I'm leaning towards the Valvoline MaxLife NextGen. But it's brand new and I haven't heard any reviews or anything...

Mobil 1 0W-30 and a Mobil 1 filter every 5,000 miles.

You are going to get 100 different answers.

Basically, pick a good oil and filter for your situation and change the regularly.

Pretty much what I was thinking.

As long as you choose a quality oil and filter and use the factory intervals or at the very least the oil recommended intervals youll be fine. I have been called crazy for doing synthetic changes once every 3000, but I always say to each their own.
