Post subject:  TPMS came in handy

When shopping for the KJ, my wife wanted the limited with the sunroof, leather, TPMS, overhead, etc. As much as some of you may dislike the bells and whistles, I might say that something as little as the TPMS comes in handy. Tonight on our drive up into the mountains, our TPMS system warned us with a dinging sound. We looked up at the overhead to discover the passenger rear tire indicator was blinking the PSI reading. The reading went from 32, PSI, 28 PSI, 18 PSI, 15 PSI, 13PSI, 9PSI and it turned 5 PSI by the time we found a safe (flat) location to pull over and change the flat. I’m not saying that the TPMS is something that everyone needs, but it did gives us enough warning to allow plenty of time to make a wise decision.

Your KJ just wanted to air down and prepare you for the high road trip it wanted to take.
