 Post subject: Heater Blower Fan Problems. (Maybe)

My wife just called, and said the the heater blower fan is not working properly. That the 2nd fan setting is no different than the 1st setting. Also, the the 3rd is super loud. Anyone have this before.

You have to replace the resistor deal... it's not hard. There are many hundreds of threads to choose from that will talk you through it.

step 1 open glove box.
step 2 push tabs on arms of glove box so it releases and falls into your lap.
step 3 unscrew 2 bolts holding on the resistorchip.
step 4 remove resistor.
step 5 repeat everything in reverse.

Now I have been having a night of :5SHOTS:
but almost positive thats how it goes.
pretty simple and not hard at all good luck.

Thanks to all who helped. I replaced the resistor on Thursday. $20 from a local Jeep dealership, and 20 min. of farting around. Man...is that clip lame.

Not sure if that part is the correct one, but I got the part form Jeep UK dealer for about £ 20.00 more or less and it's worked very well. Have a look at at Topic tread I posted up it will help you to replace it once you have bought it.
