| Post subject: | Air bag light comes on after radiator install? |
I just change the radiator in my wifes 2002 3.7 libby 4x4. the air bag light was not on prior to this. after the install the air bag light does not turn off after motor is started. I used a code reader and it said 0 codes. I pulled the + on the battery and it came right back in a instant. I did not disco the battery when i pulled the radiator, only the fan had power to it and it was just a plug, so i did not see the point. any ideas ??????? |

The airbag sensors are at the front of the engine compartment by the radiator support. In changing the radiator you may have loosened one of the sensors or wires to the sensors or pinched a wire up there somewhere. They are just little black plastic boxes about 2" x 3" x about 1/2" thick, One on each side. make sure you push those connectors all the way in. |
