I jacked this picture from another thread (I hope you don't mind Dj S). I'm about to mount some very similar foglights, but I'd like to mount them just a tad closer if possible. My question is, what's inside that recess next to his bolts? If I dremelled that part open, could I mount my light there, or is something important hiding in that space? Thanks in advance. which recess? the cig pack shaped plastic protrusions? nothings in there, it's just "ribbing" for structure support one of the reasons to put the bolt where he put it tho is to gain rigidity by the thicker plastic of that insert in the fascia the plastic of the fascia alone isn't very rigid, add that inserts heavier abs plastic to it and it's pretty stout tho |

Thanks! That's exactly what I needed to know. I hadn't considered the added rigidity, and I'm very thankful that you pointed it out! |
