Does anyone have a KK with over 100K on it? I'm getting close my self, currently just under 96K and I was wondering if anyone else had put these kind of miles on their libby. Mine is a 08 and I have put almost 55K since April 2010 on her.

Just bought a 2009 Liberty Limited with 80k on it. Real comfortable and rides nice.

There is a ticking in the engine but I am reading the 3.7L is a little noisy anyway? I will do a little more investigation when I have a chance to toy with it. I've only owned it 6 days :)

theres all sorts of jeepisums that make ticks

vac selenoid clicks
sometimes as the tensioner pully assembly ages it clicks
fuel injectors
etc

if you have valve noise on your 3.7 ya need to either change your oil or use better oil :P

The stealership I bought it from wasn't Chrysler/Dodge and they did a oil change before I picked it up.

I'll probably try oil as the first attempt to quiet it down.

Thanks!

Yea, the 3.7L is very loud. I just got mine about a month ago and I'm still convinced that shes going to blow anyday

Just not used to a loud engine, makes my nerves go crazy lol usually when a engine sounds like that, its certainly not a good thing
