My 2003 KJ has been cranking quite a bit in the morning. I suspect I'm losing fuel pressure. I'm not getting any black smoke after the start so I don't think it's a leaking injector. But I'll put a fuel pressure gauge on the rail test port, clamp the fuel line and try to determine if it's the injectors or the pump/fpr/check value.

Assuming it's not an injector, does anyone know if the pump/fuel pressure regulator and check valve is a single assembly or are they individual parts. I'm trying to figure out what I'll need to order.

Thanks!
Doc

The pump and main regulator is all one unit in the gas tank, there is a filter with secondary regulator on top of the gas tank.

Do not get a airtex pump unless you like changing pumps every year,Delphi or OEM is more then worth it.
