Can anyone tell me how to tell when front wheel bearings are bad or going bad???

Lateral play,noise while driving.Can be bad with no play and can make no noise if bad and has alot of play.If you have ABS bad bearing generally turn on the ABS light,not always though.The rear bearings is different and can turn more expensive if the axle is damaged by them but generally the rears will be bad with leaking axle seals.

how u no difference between tire noise and bearing noise?

Rotate tires and drive it again,or try a different set of tires with less aggresive tread.
