My 2003 KJ has been cranking quite a bit in the morning. I suspect I'm losing fuel pressure. I'm not getting any black smoke after the start so I don't think it's a leaking injector. But I'll put a fuel pressure gauge on the rail test port, clamp the fuel line and try to determine if it's the injectors or the pump/fpr/check value. Assuming it's not an injector, does anyone know if the pump/fuel pressure regulator and check valve is a single assembly or are they individual parts. I'm trying to figure out what I'll need to order. Thanks! Doc |

The pump and main regulator is all one unit in the gas tank,there is a filter with secondary regulator on top of the gas tank. Do not get a airtex pump unless you like changing pumps every year,Delphi or OEM is more then worth it. |
