I have a '05 NSF370 6-speed manual and my rig keeps popping out of 1st gear.

I was told it's most likely the shift tower that needs repalcing, problem is that the KJ shift towers are out of stock.

I can find TJ towers for a fraction od the cost but the main shaft is not angled the same.
TJ shaft is straight compaired to the KJ shaft being angled like an "S"

Does anyone have any ideas or suggetions?

An angle gauge against the screen doesn't show a substantial difference in the angle of the tilt, but it appears that the KJ shifter knob would be located perhaps an inch further back than the TJ when installed.
Potential issues would be
1) would the TJ shifter, being an inch further away, be a problem for you to reach it?
2) would the TJ shifter, being an inch further forward, find interference with the center instrument column?

I’m not sure about putting it in reverse.
I’m thinking that might be too low and hit against the passenger seat

I would question why it's the shift tower that's causing it, and then see if the relevant parts can't be swapped between the TJ and KJ towers, while leaving the rod correct.
