I ran the KL78s for a while back three years ago, seemed to do pretty good. Only ran them for 20,000 or so then went bigger

So they lasted about 45k and did a pretty good job!
Looking at the general HTS with the LRR now.
My stock is 225-75-16. Looking at there 235/75/16
Would I need to do any kind of lift for that small size change?
Even just a clevis or something.

After trying to sell them for a while and experience with them on a daily basis I've been really underwhelmed with Kumho. In that price range, and in order of preference; Falken, Nexen, Hankook. All are better than Kumho.

235-75r-16 tires are a good size for the KJ.

KL78's were the cheapest with free shipping when I first lifted and still lived in the continental U.S.

They weren't bad but they wore quickly even with regular five tire rotations. Duratracs are great if you want a little beefier. Cooper AT and the new bfg at would serve you darn well.

For 98 percent street this is what my diesel libby came with. Diameter is 29.5in but slightly rubbed front edge of wheel well. I put on mastercraft at tires I bought used for $400 (235/70/16). Your Kumho 225 tire is listed at 29.3in.

Must wear like iron (740 utq) I bought it at 94k miles last summer and they were finally showing wear bars with the rear pair. If original tires went 30-35k? they were at least 60k. they are also low rolling resistance and I would get 32mpg+ on my evic display on highway trips. For my diesel; the tire size were excellent for highway travel.

I went with general HTS60 it's there new tire in a 235/75/16
No rubbing and really smooth and quiet on the highway.
Paid 400 for 4 with road hazard. And then 150 for install and 1 time alignment.
