So the mounting nuts, that mount the 4 studs on the upper strut to the vehicle.... we I al missing two of them. Now, I am probably going to Tractor supply in the morning to match them up and get two locking nuts to fit on there... but any info on a part number or size would be appreciated :)

OK so I just got back. After taking my remaining strut mounting nut, and threading it cleanly onto a 7/16-14 bolt, I took some home from Tractor Supply.

Got home, the nut would only thread about three-quarters of the way on the strut stud

*#@!$&*%!$$%@!

So off to Home Depot to try the metric sizes (nothing metric at Tractor Supply)

The PROPER size is M12 x 1.75

Wierd how the strut nut worked on either size bolt/stud, but obviously the stud needed exactly the proper size nut. darn American cars and their half Imperial / half metric components.

BTW, the lift is complete, battery is in, test drive wnet flawless, and tires go on tomorrow.

Pics to follow :)

Good luck finding new ones! Are you driving around with nothing holding the struts on? Just wondering.

When I did mine I but the upper ball joint nut on the clevis bolt and screwed the threads up on the nut. Had to get those at the dealer.

Umm.. I got 2 metric nuts and washers to use untill I get the factory ones.

My whole thread was trying to find the size of the stud so I can get replacement nuts ;)
