I've tried searching through the forum and the web and haven't found anything that helps.

Can anyone post a link to a pair of roof rails that fit my kj?

i can't seem to find any for the racks i have, which are the plastic with metal thick cylinder ones.

And i can't find the max load weight for the racks either i saw someone on the forum said its 60??? i really hope its not because my thule excursion weighs close to 40lbs and I'm driving from nj to fl so ill have to transport more then 60lbs

i was in the same position... never did find any rails for my 06 renegade roof rails.

so i bought this from rocklizardfabrications.com and it will sure hold more then 60lbs




but without buying a nice rack... you could make some cross rails your self out of 1in. alum. bar stock... and some U bolts.

or i was going to buy some 2.5in exhaust pipe tubing and just weld it between my factory rails.

this is a pic i found on here of surfguitar141's jeep rails from thule. i searched 2006 liberty renegade rail and it popped right up. hope this helps

looks nice and strong i just have to make sure if the cargo clips will match up. making it would probably be much cheaper too

When my 2006 was new, I bought the MOPAR Renegade rails. they hold up to 65 kilo's or about 140 pounds.

If those are no longer available, I would go with some aluminum tubing and u bolts.
