yep, 2 or 3 of us are running LED tail light bulbs, some others using the actual aftermarket led tail light unit

Are you runnin clear LED's how bright are they when you apply your brakes since your lenses are red as well. I've got red ones to but because of my lenses being red, there's not much diff. in brightness when i brake.

Get some high quality LED's, some out there are low quality LED's and are not bright. You need to use red leds behind red lense.

check these folks out: http://autolumination.com/3157_3156.htm

yeah what zack said

i use the bulb the color of the lens (super white/red/yellow)

using the super whites behind the red/yellow lenses almost totally eliminate the coloring

I've been contemplating a set of LED taillights like the one below but at $317 they're a bit pricey for something you drive through the woods.
Image

I'm going to look harder for some affordable replacement LED "bulbs". If anybody fins a supplier please post a link for us.

Still pricey, but they go for $239 on Amazon.

+1 on the black, I may consider them. Do you have a problem with fast flash using them?
