So I've been thinking about LOST, and I think it's great. Probably better than great, other wise I'd would not have Lost KJ it across my front windscreen. Anyway I was thing that we have AusJeep over here in Aust but it's mainly local stuff with some overseas members, such Darby :D & many others. So I was wondering if the U.S guy's look at LOST as a local site or a world wide website.

To me it's a link to the US and all it's great members' but you may think of it in another way, so I wondering what everyone else thinks?

LOST is Definately a World Wide forum. Spreading the LOST word to other countries local forums has helped it to grow and continuing to do so will make it even bigger. I get a real kick out of seeing pics from other countries wheeling outings and such. It is great to share our stories with one another from different countries as it helps us to realize the world wide popularity of Jeeping and how alike we all are to one another.
This type of forum is what is Right w/ the WWW and what more of It should be like!

I'm also with JJ on this. LOST is a world-wide organization of like-minded individuals. I really enjoy seeing KJs in environments I'm not normally exposed to.

since day 1 ( in 04 ) I've loved the fact that we do stretch out to the other side & see what you guy's encounter on your wheelin trips...most of us may never see it up close & personal so we live vicariously thru you all......stretch the love

Another bonus to being a worldwide group is the way we share mods. I'm not sure we'd even have a snorkel if it weren't for our Aussie brothers and sisters...

Agreed on all points. I absolutely love hearing from members outside the states and seeing pics of places that I will probably never have the opportunity to visit.

World wide.

Heck, I post over on AusJeep, and have for longer than I have on lost.

Course, I never can figure out what you guys are saying, so I don't post much.

Worldwide. Honestly, if I could live anywhere else in the world, I'd live in Aus. You guys are awesome for many reasons actually, but it is cool to see Euro LOST KJs and now KKs among others. It gives us all a chance to see what people all over are doing with their jeeps, which essentially makes us a huge brotherhood (or sisterhood) with our love of jeeps being the common thread. Jeeps are amazing and I am glad to see people all the world over can appreciate that too.

That would be one long ferry ride  It will take me about 20hr or so to drive up there from my place in Sydney, at least I think it will take that long. We'll do it over 2 days as my kids wouldn't last the trip if we did it in 1.

Worldwide definitely! I found Ausjeep through here and the KJ forum - if it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't know where to find any kit for the KJ. I think it's fair to say that in England at least, the KJ is not really regarded by many as a "proper" off roader, and so there are very few aftermarket bits available. Most mods for jeeps are for the Wrangler models!
Thanks to the ideas and posts I read here, I am slowly building up a stock of parts to be fitted when the warranty runs out in September. I have to say that both my wife and I really love the KJ, and have plans for some fairly extensive travel in it next year up into Scandinavia. It's just the right size for us, and is incredibly manoeverable! :D
