Post subject:  What aftermarket tail light bulb number?
Hi all,
I feel silly posting this, but I have been searching forever and have not found an answer. My brake light issues have now turned into a bunch of little strange things. I am trying to replace the bulbs to see if that solves any of the problems. Does anyone know what bulb number is needed in the aftermarket black altezza tail lights? I tried 2057 because they looked like the correct bulb and they dont work. Also I realize there are two different bulb types in these

my altezza's took 1157's for the brake bulb at least, not sure about the rest

Thanks!! I threw out the old bulbs when I bought the new ones.

click on Sylvania's auto part guide and they'll tell you the number

which for an 05 Taillight would be 3157 - (different mount than 1157)

maybe the altezza's have different bulbs, mine came with them on, and it looked like it had a aftermarket wires and sockets installed, so maybe that's why, but mine did take 1157's

2057s and 1157s are interchangeable so if the 2057 didn't work chances are it was just a bad bulb.
