What's up with jeep not putting in a trans dipstick, is this going to be a new thing? Also can you buy an aftermarket part for it?

Yeah it's a $60 tool from the dealership and then you need a scanner that will display the trans temp and the chart from the FSM to check your trans level.

The reason for the dipstick delete was due to many using the wrong ATF and blowing trans, take the ability to check it you can't know if you should/should not add thus not putting in the wrong ATF.

I bought the tool and had the dealer show me "approximately" where the fluid level should be on the measuring tool.
