So I got my Small EVAP leak fixed the other day (damaged hose under the hood). Everything has been running good. I go the gas station last night to put gas in and I was having a very hard time pumping gas. I first thought it was the pump...so I changed pumps...same problem with the next pump. I've never had this problem before. It took my 15mins to fill the tank up lol. I've come to 2 conclusions: 1. Something is broken inside the filler area thats blocking fuel from getting in....2. The vent hose( I think its called) is plugged. Need to know how the easiest way of trouble shooting. Also would something have to do with the new hose that was put on? please Help!!! |

I would remove the filler neck and inspect it thoroughly. That is if you can get the nozzle all the way down in there as usual. If not it. Might be that little spring loaded metal piece right at the filler hole is stuck. There is also a small screen I think just before the filler neck enters the tank that could have something blocking it. |

How would I go about removing the filler neck? I'm not that smart with cars lol, and I live in an apartment so I dont have a lot of room and tools. Any pics would help? |
