My guess would be how the inside of the muffler is designed. I run a Super 40 and have been for two years plus. It makes my Jeep sound like a v8 in some of my videos.

I wouldnt go that far. But I would say that a 3.7 with a flowmaster is the best sounding 6 cylinder ever.

No v6 can ever sound like a v8. It's just the truth.

Nice v6 sound? yes...like a v8? no.

While my KJ with a super 44 sounded AWESOME and bada$$, it by no means sounded like this(my WJ):

edit: For KJs IMHO it goes like this: sound = Flowmaster (pref super 44). Performance = Dynomax ultraflow.
