There are XGauge codes posted on a wranglerforum thread that can apparently get the transmission temperature for a JK with the 42RLE. I'm hoping that it also works for a KJ/42RLE, because I'm either going to get one of these and use it to track trans temp and fuel economy, or I'll just get an analogue gauge kit and not worry about reading fuel economy for now. The wranglerforum thread is here: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/scanga ... 34559.html - codes near bottom of page. If someone here with a SG2 and a KJ could check it, I'd really appreciate it! |

Yeah, I expected it probably wouldn't. Thanks for trying! |

There are a couple more codes listed on the scanguage website. Tried those and they also do not work. One does say 0, which is better than the other which give nothing. I'd love to know what the code is for the tranny temp. Just a matter of figuring it out. |
