Post subject:  Upper control arm help?

Facts:
05 kj sport
ome 927
bilstein shocks

I replaced my upper control arms with napa brand back in May and currently been having the o' uca and spring contact noise only on the passenger side. Now I just took off the tires and let it all droop down and I see that the passenger side uca is hitting the spring. But my drivers side is a good inch away from the spring. Does anyone have an idea of why they could be so different, bad alignment possibly?

I don't know why the contact happens on only one side, but I know that Jeepin By Al makes upper control arms for lifted jeeps that are designed to avoid that spring contact and make your alignments easier. Don't know if you're interested because your NAPA control arms are so new, but here's the link to the JBA site.

Take it back to NAPA and get another. If the new one hits then it would most likely be a problem with your vehicle. You can also put back on your old ones and see if there is a difference on either side.
