a discount with your insurance for telling them you disabled your abs?

No they give you a discount for having ABS which they get from the VIN,gotta read.
It doesn't really read that way. It reads complete flip flopped and backwards the way you typed it.
Either way, disabling the ABS on your vehicle and getting in a wreck will only do one thing, if you're up front about it....it will limit the liability of the insurance company to pay for the accident. The accident investigators will look at your car, determine if the fuse was removed, and notate that.
Now, having failed abs will not result in any negative effects from the car insurance company, but you really should fix things when their broke, or do this right and remove them completely.
