I have a 2002 Liberty Sport. I was driving down the road last night and hey, I hear a pop, and my radio and windshiled wipers stop working.

I get out and check the fuses, they are all fine. I check the fuse in the back of my radio, its fine.

Im guessing the 2 "cartridge" fuses or whatever they are under the hood went because there is 2 of them pertaining to the wipers. But I cant figure out why the radio doesnt work.

Any ideas?

Aliens did it.

I guess you didn't notice the UFO hovering over that part of the highway when things stopped working...?

Oh, and don't forget to check the back of your neck for an implant.

Same thing happened to me. I believe it was the radio fuse that blew on me. once replacing that all items returned. I was suprised to learn that the radio, wipers and electronic overhead display have one fuse. I would just replace the radio fuse. the same thing happed for me on the rear brake light and instrument cluster. i checked all fuses and they looked ok but it turned out one was still blown. I had even used a fuse tester on it and it was ok. unless I tested it wrong.

Well, its going to the shop anyways.

It stalled on me today and threw a "Check engine" and a "oil pressure" light at me when it did.

Im trading this thing in on a truck.

Each to your own, I would never trade my jeep to a truck though.

Well, yeah, now that you threatened to trade it.
Have you had it since new? Hopefully it's just a fuse.

Well, it was a fuse. A fuse that I checked 3 times. Even put a new one in.

I dont get it. But it works now, so thats all that matters.
