Just wanted to make sure that I'm not missing anything. It's my daily so I'd hate to have to wait for some little piece I forgot to get here before I can have it back together. Front: OME 2927 springs with NS131 struts JBA 5.5 upper control arms ( link ) 2x TeraFlex bump stops (3") ( link ) 6x 2" conduit nuts, 3 per side for the clevis lift Rear: OME 2731 springs with N132L shocks JBA rear bump stops, trimmed to 2" ( link ) 4x KK isolators, 2 per side ( link ) Now obviously an alignment after all of this is installed. I just had a few questions. 1) Are those TeraFlex bump stops too tall? I thought I remember reading they should be 2"? 2) Does it matter where I put the isolators? The KK iso's are for either top or bottom, what difference does it make if I put them on top or bottom? 3) Do I need anything for the front top plate? I know I'm using the old top hat/plate for the new spring/strut, but what's the 1/4" spacer some people use in the top (front)? Thanks guys!! Stoked for "Christmas" for the Jeep. ![]() |

pretty much got it As far as questions 1) no not too tall, inch bumpstop for each inch of lift 2) install isolators on top 3) top plate gives you more height, 1/4 inch gives you 1/2 inch more, its a flat plate with 5 holes in it ![]() |

Thanks Tom! I have a Mazda in my garage that's almost finished for a friend (doing some turbo component upgrades for him), and I've been holding off on ordering this stuff until his car is out of the garage! Haha. I needed extra motivation to get it done lol. ![]() |

Also, are those springs going to stiffen it up a bit? Or do I need the stiffer ones? I plan to at least do a front bumper in the future. I drove my friends H3 on the same trails I take the Jeep, and I was sooo jealous at how smooth it was compared to my stock KK!! Tires may have had a bit to do with that as well (275/75/16 vs. my 235/70/16's). |

Yes they will stiffen it up some, won't be a harsh ride but it will be firm will ride much better , for example railroad track which are a PITA now, will be smooth after lifting They will hold up well, I ran an ARB bumper on 927s for 100,000 miles before I switched them out It'll be better than an H3 , anything else ![]() |

Do I need new studs for the strut if I'm getting the top plates? 2. I trim the excess off the bottom on the JBA bump stop, correct? |
