thought so.

tail gate looks to be 4 bolts on the hinges. maybe 13mm or 15mm. one bolt on the black support. then it looks like all is left is to disconnect the wiring.

I want to take off the interior panel and try to push out most of the dent. If not I am going to hook it to my JK's winch and try to slowly pull it out. LOL. Im not out anything if it doesnt work. :goink:

Thinking I can strap to the bottom of the carrier and slowly pull to try and pop it back out. only one tiny little break in the paint at very bottom. chance it will pop out. doesnt need perfect but I need it to be out so the spare tire will not push in on the bumper.

couldnt get much from the inside as you said.

so I winched it. :ROTFL:

got it popped out enough the spare mounts without hitting the bumper. still going to keep looking for a replacement.

pretty easy really.

4 hinge bolts, two bolts on the swing arm thing. remove driver side interior panel and unplug it.

boom done.
