Don't want to hijack the thread, but I'm interested too.
Is the K&N set up that much better?
I mean, you could buy the less expensive set and add a K&N filter and have invested much less than the $220 that K&N wants.

I picked up a solid 1-2 mpg with mone and increased overall performance. Plus it comes with a cold air compartment which many don't. And they are CARB certified.

One more thing. While installing I had a question for them. They were there for me and shipped out a new part 2 day UPS.
