Ok need some help! Is there a kit that lowers the angle of the CV joints? Reason I'm asking is because on my KJ I'm running the franken lift with JBA UCA an the angle seems to much and on my driver side It looks like grease is getting discharged I may have a hole in the boot to. Anyone else have this issue? Ill try to post pics to. Thanks for the help In advance.

Well, you definitely need a new CV. Could be it was about to go anyway and its just coincidence that the boot got torn at the same time you did the lift.

As for 'changing the angles' of the CV...The only practical way to do that is lower your lift by removing top plates or clevis lift. The impractical way is to lower your subframe. The expensive way is to get a set of RCV racing CV's from JeepinByAl.com. The REALLY expensive way to eliminate the problem is to go SFA.

Just get a NAPA re-manned CV and be done with it.

Had the same problem with mine... tried just replacing the CV and Int shaft. I had more problems with vibration with a remanned shaft.

The problem (not really) with the Franky is there is nothing to remove to lower it (ie top plates) .. there is no room for a clevis lift even if you wanted one ..lol.

In the end I had to remove the bottom (ABS) spring perch/spacer.. that took an inch out of the front and solved my CV and steering problems.

What kind of remanned shaft did you get?
Best is NAPA have never head any issues with them
Some of the others are too short and cause vibes etc
Frankenlifts are about as high as you want to go when new, after running them for a while they do break in and are lower
What did you install after you removed the lower isolator?
