I've just reached 301,000Km's (approx.180,000mls)... Does any one know how long the anticipated Expected Life Time for the 3.7ltr engine, transmission etc.

I've toured around Australia mostly remote outback corrugated dirt tracks, some off road & daily driver. Apart from replacing the front diff after its' casing exploded a few years back I have had only minor maintenance issues with it.. Would like to think she'll be good for a while yet.

I would be interested to know if there is anyone out there with greater mileage and their experiences re: maintenance & repairs over that time...

Some have over 200,000 miles on their motors here..My KJ is currently at 117,000 miles..

I remember reading about a KJ with 350,000 miles on it, but I don't have a link to that thread. I think they can go a long time if the regular maintenance is kept up with. I hope mine lasts that long too!
