Well, everybody - it's official. I'm really sad to see her go, but I'm trading in my ol' faithful Liberty for a 2013 Wrangler Sport with 6-Speed, Soft Top, 3.73 gears in Commando Green! :D Yes, I'm going from KJ to JK :) I'm happy about the new ride, but it almost feels like I'm putting my dog down  At any rate, for some odd reason my Renegade light bar stopped working all of a sudden. The light on the switch doesn't come on with the parking or headlights and neither does the light on the dash when the switch is depressed, which tells me there is no power to the whole works, but the manual doesn't say where the fuse is for it. All I did was remove my PIAA's and that's when my light bar stopped working. They weren't in any way shape or form attached to the light bar, though, which is why I'm confounded! :? I removed the little dash panel to the left of the steering wheel where the switch was mounted and jostled the switch a bit, but I can't see this causing a fuse to blow or any other issue. I looked at it and checked all the connections on the back of the harness and they feel solid....I'm LOST! I am by no means good with electrical stuff, so I really hope it's something simple like a fuse, but I can't find it! HELP! Thank you so much, my old friends!

OK looking at the 2006 circuit diagram....which may be the same as your 2003 but maybe not.

Fuse 12 (30 A) in the PDC under the hood.

Fuses 9 and 13 (10 A) in the Junction Block inside the cabin.

Hopefully someone with the 2003 circuit diagram can look this up for you....not worth downloading the whole circuit diagram when you are getting rid of the Renegade.

Thanks BillWill! I'm gonna check those out. Where did you find that info? It's not in the user manual is it?

Fixed! There are two pieces to the back of the switch that had become separated. I wasn't immediately obvious, but when I started pushing on the back it snapped back into place and voila! LIGHT! :-) Life is good again :-)
