Ok, so from the old forum, 20lbs seems to be the recommended tire pressure from the LOSTKJ West guys for stock tires.. but what about a nice set of MTs like the Bridgestone Duelers? Can I go a bit lower with them? |

We said that 20 was a good SFAE starting point for most of the guys. Some will run lower than this but it is a good SAFE starting point for guys to try and then maybe work down from there. there are many thing to consider, like terrain, speed, weight you are carring in your jeep and a lot of other things. Hope that helps. Later...Clint |

we went to GWNF earlier this month and most of the guys with MT's etc... dropped down to 20 or 25 and worked well. Ask Talon1 what he does, he was there. |

Andy, Talon has Bridgestone Dueller A/T's not M'/t's. I don't think he went down that far though. I have Goodyear MT/R's. For GWNF, I went down to 28 psi. The terrain there is not that severe. It was just to soften the ride a little. For some tougher trails at Paragon or such, I would go down to about 22-23. If you don't have a lift and are running stock tires, I wouldn't go that low because you'll lose too much clearance. And you will be more likely to damage the sidewall. That's how I blew a stock tire at Rausch Creek last year. With a lift and tougher sidewall tires, you can drop pressure without losing much of your clearance or risking punctures. |

David, Thanks for the chime in. I stand corrected, I know I only went to 30 with the stock skinny's. I thought you guys dropped to 20, didn't mean to confuse anyone... |

I run Dunlop Mud Rovers 265-75s...and I usually run them anywhere between 20-17 depending on the terrain..anything lower and it starts to get a little sketchy if your in rocks and off camber stuff |

I usually air down to 25 unless I would need to go lower. But that`s just me... |

Took my Revo A/T's down to 22 psi. No problems. |
