Hey folks, my swing gate hasn't worked properly for a few months now. I've manually flipped the little tab on the interior whenever I need to open it. The locking and unlocking appears to be deficient. I'm going to try replacing the latch assembly. The part number is 55360641AD. However, I want to confirm that the latch assembly includes the latch and electrical motor all in one. Would anyone be able to confirm this? The reason I ask is I see the same part number with different descriptions. Check out the links to ebay and Amazon and you'll see what I mean.

Amazon

Thanks!

You might consider this viewtopic.php?f=5&t=65100&p=717861&hilit=deteant#p717861 depending on what the door/window are doing or not doing before replacing that assembly

I just wanted to follow up with my earlier post. I purchased a replacement swing gate latch and installed it. The latch now locks and unlocks properly so no need to reach in manually. Cheers.
